NPI Lookup Tool

This guide will walk you through using the NPI lookup tool on both the mobile app and web portal to add and manage contacts efficiently.

The National Provider Identifier (NPI) lookup tool in RevMove helps users in the medical or pharmaceutical sales industry to associate NPI numbers with contacts.

Mobile App 

Adding a New Account and Contact with NPI Lookup

  1. Tap the plus (+) icon at the top right to create a new account.
  2. You can add the information manually or scan a business card to fill in company information automatically.
  3. Tap Next to move to the contact creation screen.

  4. To find the NPI number, use the magnifying glass icon in the NPI field to search the national database.
    1. You can search by the contact's name or organization.
    2. Click Search to retrieve all matching NPI numbers from the database.

  5. Review the search results, verify the correct provider using the information icon, then select the correct provider.

  6. Hit Save to associate the NPI number with the new contact and complete the account setup.

Adding an NPI Number to an Existing Contact

  1. Open an existing account and go to the Contacts section.

  2. Tap on the contact's name and use the three-dot menu at the top-right corner to select Manage Contacts.

  3. Use the magnifying glass in the NPI field to look up the NPI number for the contact.

  4. After finding the correct NPI, hit Save to associate it with the contact.

Adding a New Contact to an Existing Account

  1. If you want to add a new contact to an existing account, go to the three-dot menu, then Manage Contacts.
  2. Scroll down to add a new contact by entering their details, including name and position.Update Account
  3. Use the NPI lookup tool to search for the provider’s NPI number, then save the contact.

You can copy the NPI number by pressing and holding it to paste it elsewhere.

Web-based Dashboard

While the NPI lookup tool is available only in the mobile app, you can manually enter or edit NPI numbers on the web portal.

Adding an NPI Number to an Existing Contact on the Web

  1. Navigate to the Accounts page, select an account, and open the Contacts tab.
  2. Click the pencil icon to edit an existing contact and enter the NPI number manually.
  3. Save your changes.

Adding a New Contact and NPI on the Web

  1. In the Contacts tab, click to create a new contact, and enter their details.
  2. You can input the NPI number, but the lookup functionality is not available on the web portal. You must use the mobile app to search for NPIs.
