Setting Your Default Preferences

This article explains how users can customize default settings on the web and mobile platforms, including calendar views, dashboard views, and distance units.

Web Dashboard

Navigate to the left sidebar and select the bottom tab labeled "Settings" to access customization options.

  • Calendar View: Choose between Sunday–Saturday or Monday–Sunday as the start of the week. This affects how the dashboard calendar and weekly stats are displayed.

  • Distance Units: The default is miles, but you can switch to kilometers if preferred.

  • Dashboard View: Select between "Events To Do List" (default) and "User Report" views. The "Events To Do List" provides a standard calendar and task overview, while "User Report" summarizes user activities over a selected timeframe.

The dashboard view determines whether you see a task-based overview or a report of user activities. For access to both, keep the dashboard on "Events To Do List" and use the "User Report" under the Team section as needed.

The calendar view impacts how weekly data and stats are calculated and displayed.

Mobile App

The Rep Move mobile app allows users to set three key defaults to enhance navigation and data entry efficiency. These include the preferred navigation app, measurement units, and country of origin.

  • Navigation App Selection: Users can choose between Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze as their default navigation application. This is set within the user profile section, accessible via the dashboard and pencil icon.
  • Measurement Units: The app supports both miles and kilometers. If no selection is made, it defaults to miles.
  • Country of Origin: Selecting a country of origin helps auto-populate addresses and phone numbers with the correct international code. If not specified, the default is the United States.

How to Set Defaults:

  1. Go to the dashboard (bottom right corner).
  2. Tap the pencil icon (top right) to access user profile information.
  3. Choose your preferred navigation app, measurement unit, and country of origin.
  4. Hit Save.
